A Victims Guide to the California Parole Hearing Process

The Crime Victims Assistance Network Foundation has developed a comprehensive guide for victims and survivors to attend parole hearings for life sentenced inmates.  This guide provides information on developing an impact statement, preparing for the parole hearing, what to wear, what to bring, important contact information, etc.  This guide was developed collaboratively with deputy district attorneys who represent counties in parole hearings.
